Not even a breeze decided to stir through the greenleaf heat, which really wasn't all that comforting for the dark ginger she-cat. Her fur felt like a burden as it contained the scorching heat within her skin. How she wished just a light breeze would perhaps cool her down, but no such luck. The air seemed to waver as the bright greenleaf sun shined down on the baking ground. Blazeheart was lying in the shady part of camp, hoping the cool darkness would dispel some of the heat. She considered going to the river and taking a dip to cool down, but she wasn't a Mistclan cat who just loved to get wet anytime. The warm weather also made her feel listless. She thought she should do something productive such as hunting or leading a patrol, but her tired body just didn't listen. Therefore she laid there, her dark amber eyes lazily watching the slow activities in camp.
