scribbled out the truth with their lies
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
Personality;
Riverpaw lives largely in denial, a fact which has enabled her to stay upbeat and outgoing. She also enjoys living recklessly, always taking risks and putting herself in dangerous situations. She's not suicidal or anything, she just likes the thrill that comes with danger and the high that follows after surviving something she shouldn't have. She feels more alive that way. She's a rule breaker, like her mother before her. It's not that she isn't loyal to her clan and that she doesn't want to follow the warrior code. She just can't help feeling that sometimes it's wrong. She's a little arrogant that way. She's also over confidedant, believing fully that no matter what trouble she gets herself into, she'll make it out okay.
Flaws;
Impulsive
Reckless
Arrogant
Advantages;
Bold
Determined
Loyal

Appearance;
Riverpaw looks nothing like either of her parents, taking instead from her grandparents, with her grandmother Rainfall's golden eyes and her grandfather Crowshadow's black pelt. Her fur is short and sleek, and completely black. Her body is compact, small in every way, short and thin, with dainty paws. She has very little in the way of muscle but she's quick and agile, able to move speedily with grace. Her face has angular, delicate features. Her eyes are a bright golden colour, the only part of her visible in the night; vibrant lanterns that flicker in the dark.
Short Description;
Small black she-cat with golden eyes
i'd rather waste my life pretending than have to forget

History;
Riverkit's parents were in love with each other since they were kits. Or at least, that's what her father, Bluegaze, told her when she asked how he and her mother had fallen in love. He went on to clarify to his eagerly listening kits, as Riverkit's brother, Stonekit, and sisters, Rosekit and Pondkit, were with her when she asked to know this important piece of history, that it had not been romantic love when they were kits. It had started as friendship.
Bluekit and Littlekit had been the very best friends. She was a troublemaker, and he would follow her on every one of her schemes. When they were apprentices, there was still more trouble yet. Littlepaw was always so curious and liked to bend rules. Bluepaw, as he had as a kit, followed her. It was in this time that he began to realize his devoution to her was more than just that of a dedicated friend, but he didn't want to admit it, because of course she didn't feel the same way.
They became warriors together and Bluegaze still said nothing of his feelings. He just did what he always did. He followed her. He accompanied her in her hunts and patrols. When Fireclan entered a battle, he was never far from her side. One battle, a large tom had her pinned down. Bluegaze saw Littlepond, helpless and crying for help, and he lunged at the tom. He didn't remember much of the battle, but he did remember waking up in the medicine cat den with a missing eye and Littlepond laying beside him. He asked if she would be his mate and she told him, "Of course, mousebrain."
Littlepond soon became pregnant and she and Bluegaze were thrilled. She went into labour, and the moment she saw her kits... "The look on her face," Bluegaze told his kits. "She loved you all so much." But something had gone wrong. Littlepond was bleeding too much. One of those she-cats just not meant to have kits, the medicine cat later said. She didn't survive.
But Bluegaze had their kits; their beautiful kits who he loved so very much, and he knew he could be happy, and hoped the tragity was behind this young family. ... He was wrong.
When they were two moons old, the kits were abducted by a rogue. The queen who was nursing them had slipped out of the nursery to grab a drink of water and Bluegaze was watching over them while they slept. Bluegaze didn't even have a chance to fight to save his family. When the rogue struck, it was a death blow to the back of the neck. He slipped out the same way he's slipped in, bringing the kits with him.
It took Fireclan patrols three days to catch up with him. ... Well, somewhat catch up to him. The patrol came upon three of the four kits, two of them deceased. As the clan pieced it together, the rogue stole the kits to collect some kind of ransome from the clan, but then realize that wasn't going to work as the patrols closed in on him, so he killed the kits, sparing Riverkit only because he ran out of time, and fled. The decided, since they were found near the river, that Stonekit's body was washed away. They asked Riverkit to confirm this, but she couldn't remember what happened.
She grew up normally after that. Riverkit did the only thing she could do to cope with the murder of her family: she tried to forget. She'd already repressed the memories of her abductiosn, though she occassionally had nightmares about it she can't recall when she wakes up. She became Riverpaw, a fine apprentice, and has been training ever since.
