She ran alot to trying to get away as fast as possible. She ended up in a clearing taking a quick break, but that's when it appeared. The Fox, It was so much bigger then she was, but it was also very young. It growled, and charged at her. She was so scared but she lunged for him anyways, he tried to push her off of him, but she forced all her weight onto him, he heaved and managed to throw her off. She landed with a soft thud on my feet. She growled, they were about equal, his strength was a bit higher than hers, but she was more flexible that him. She threw the Fox off me again, and then bit him on the Fore-arm, yanking and tearing at the flesh, he roared.
Raising his head and letting loose his pain, many birds flew away, scattering in the sky. He then leapt at her, knocking her to the ground, and then scratched her on her shoulder. She winced, it stung. It wasn't very deep though; she retracted her back leg and kicked him off, sending him a few feet. She took the time to hop back up and poise for attack. He shuffled to his feet, grasping his head; he must have hit a rock. He flew at her, catching her from underneath, and launched her into the air. Her mind flew to possible ways to save herself from the fall rushing up to her. She drew up blank. She prepared herself for the fall, then came crashing down onto hard dirt floor. Her body crumbled, pain burst through every pore, she whined, but still, she was stubborn enough to not let that Fox win. She started this and she was going to finish it, no matter what… she wasn’t a fighter, but she needed to save herself from this, the fox was going to kill her if she didn’t win. She heaved herself up, ignoring the reeling pain everywhere. She tried to get up, but everything hurt, she yowled and collapsed. Panting like crazy as her bones seemed to turn to ash.
She managed to stand only to be attacked one more by the furious claws of the Fox, he took multiple swipes at her, before she turned and scratched him back, she growled, leaping up and biting him hard on the eye, blood filled her mouth, it knocked her away howling in pain. The Fox had been hurt badly, and ran away in defeat. She looked at him, and watched him run away, her claws digging into the earth. Her teeth clamped shut to keep from howling her voice out. She started walking forward, ignoring the screaming protest from her body. She walked for what seemed to be forever, and each step of the way. She filed her way through my memories, picking out the meaningful ones, she bent low, growling as the pain worsened, what with the uneven rocking her body was making with all her injuries hurt more; she was pretty sure she had at least 1 broken leg, probably a scared ankle and fore-paw too, with many scratches as well, including the bruise on her eye. She felt a burning sensation in her blood, but immediately resisted it. She got to the other side of the clearing before she collapsed.
Dreamwyvern woke with a start, fearful, her green eyes looked around, she breathed heavily out of fear, fear the fox was still there, the pain though gone now, lingered in her memories making her body ache. She rose from her nest, her body shook as she did. She sighed a bit as her belly dragged ever so slightly, she walked out slowly making her way to the medicine cat’s den, she needed to calm down, and she knew where to get the herbs. “Fernheart” her voice called shakily.

Fernheart sat in her den looking up at the stars. This was her favorite part of the entire camp - most of her den was covered by moss, reeds and other protective layers but there was a patch that opened to let rain in. This patch created a pool near the exit of the den that was perfect for sick cats unable to walk to the river. She often used the pools after her coughing fits or when her joints ached too much to travel to the river. The ginger she-cat idly wondered if there would be a time that illness forced her into retirement. She's hid it so well up until now...but she feared that someone would soon notice her reoccurring coughing fits or her constant lack of energy.
The stars were bright tonight and she was content to leave her muzzle pointing towards the sky with her eyes closed. She could feel the moonlight washing over her ginger fur and it calmed her immensely. She let out a sigh as the wind ruffled her fur and soothed her mind. She could hear the constant roar of the river near by and it reminded her of her kit-hood spent in this very den waiting to be set free.
Fernheart remained there for another few moments before she decided that she needed to take some more poppy seeds. Her chest ached more than usual tonight and all she wanted was to get a good nights rest for once without waking up in pain.
Before she could move further back into her den to take the pain-killers she heard a cat padding towards her den. Her named was called out but the voice was rather shaky. Fernheart turned to see the MistClan queen Dreamwyvern coming towards her, her swelled belly very obvious.
"Yes, Dreamwyvern?" She called back, keeping her tone light in hope that this wasn't too serious.

Dreamwyvern walked in, instantly thrown back into a state of home sickness as the wondrous smell of herbs hit the young queen's nose. She sighed sadly, recalling how she used to wake up to the smell complaining to her mentor about it and then having to listen to Specklepaw complain... never in all her moons had she dreamed she would miss it so much that it made her heart ache sadly. She looked down silently, bit perked up a bit hearing Fernheart's voice. She sighed sadly, her shaking still intruded her body like a wild flame, never ending. "Y-Yes... it's me" She uttered sparsely to her. Only once ever finding words so difficult. "I-I um... I need something to calm d-down.. do you have anything?" She asked, she knew full well what she needed but she would allow the she-cat to do her job and even here she didn't know if the herbs were called the same as her home.
"I-I'm so sorry to intrude" She said, "I ... I had a b-bad dream and can no l-longer sleep, I fear I-I may have woke the little ones" She heedlessly said, she wasn't thinking to straight at this moment and some of her words felt jumbled in her mouth wondering what she should say as she looked at her belly distainfully, why her? Why now? They weren't coming, they weren't yet due but she couldn't help the dreaded feeling of emptiness inside her head. She moved closer into the den, awaiting the she-cat's answer, as once being a Wyvern, the second she saw the cat something seemed... off about her, but she didn't question she didn't know the cat, it would be rude of her to mention anything, she wondered then after had she just woke her? Was that it? "I-I'm sorry did I-I wake you?" She asked, she had only met this cat once and even then it was honestly just the leader telling her who the Medicine cat was... such an odd term Medicine cat, it was clear they didn't have Wyvern's but were they really the same thing? How she longed to speak to her Ancestor's again to ask if she had done the right thing, but to her, her visions were clouded, always... clouded.

Fernheart looked at the pretty she-cat with what must be obvious pity. She understood all too well about nights filled with being awake until the sun rose. She often had night terrors consisting of her clan forcing her into the elders den until she joined StarClan. Dreams like this were far too constant and sometimes she thought it was StarClan's way of telling her to retire.
"It's okay Dreamwyvern," Fernheart murmured, padding silently towards the queen. She kept each pawfall soft in case the she-cat was still spooked from her night time scare. 'I don't suggest giving you too many herbs but I can always give you something to soothe you into sleep.' The she-cat was far too along in her pregnancy to be taking strong herbs. Those herbs could easily affect the kits she carried in her swollen belly. "How do you feel about taking some Thyme?"
She moved towards her herbs to grab what she needed. She looked wistfully at the small buddle of herbs that she had neglected to take earlier and was hurting for it now. Once she helped the poor queen she could take her herbs. 'Other cats come before yourself.'She silently scolded herself.
Fernheart grabbed the herbs and walked back towards Dreamwyvren. She placed the thyme before the she-cats feet and took a few steps back. "Do you want to talk about it? She asked softly, searching the she-cats face for signs of any other pain, emotional or not.

Dreamwyvern nodded, "I know" She spoked wisely to the she-cat, she knew full well not to take to many herbs during her time, but in truth despite her love of kits she didn't want them, she didn't want to see them... She sighed a bit, "Thyme is great, I perfer Bilberry myself but that's just me" She said, not even sure if Fernheart would know what Bilberry is, she sighed, "Yes" She added afterwards, "I dreamed of the fox that attacked me before I got here... do you recall? You were the second cat I met when I arrived here, you healed me back to health" She said, it had been shortly after that she had found out she was pregnant with his kits... his.. him. Darknessfire, the beautiful, handsome and radiant sleek black furred tom that raided her mind night and day. The alluring green eyes that always seemed to draw her in.. how she missed him so. What she wouldn't give to see him again. She bent her head down and started eating her thyme slowly, many emotions spread across her face as Fernheart looked her over. She held homesickness which any cat could plainly see, she held hurt and guilt in her eyes, two twin pools of green sorrow washing around in a sea of loneliness and depression, there were also signs of fear, fear from her dreams... it was rare to see her like this, she never showed herself to many during the day. She always seemed to cheerful and happy, but her nightmares always tore her from that faked reality.
Dreamwyvern sighed, how she missed her home and friends, she prayed they were all well, perhaps one day she could return, no... she was traitor to her Tribe, to everyone she loved, she betrayed them, banished and outcasted by her own soul and mind, but she knew they would have tossed her if they knew the truth. She was pregnant signs would never lie, her own Ancestor's banned her from seeing them, she felt betrayed but she was the betrayier, was it possible... she didn't know. So many questions to ask, so may would go unanswered by the she-cat before her... so many... so many.

Fernheart watched as the pretty she-cat lapped up the herbs placed before her. She had never been self-concious about her healing abilities but she did get nervous around other cats who could heal. Every cat had their tricks and preferences when healing and she never wanted to offend another healer by doing it her own way instead of theirs. It was a relief to see the queen take the herbs. Fernheart had never heard of the herbs Dreamwyvern spoke of but she was sure they were just as good.
The ginger she-cat nodded, watching as Dreamwyvern sighed and explained her dream and what had happened earlier. Fernheart had been one to heal the pretty queen, she had been glad to help.
"Are you okay?" Fernheart asked, padding closer to the queen. "And I know that you'll probably say: I'm fine. But I know what hiding your hurt is like...If you ever need someone to just...talk to. Or some one to listen...Don't be afraid to ask."
((OOC:So sorry for the wait and the poor quality post. I'm sure a post is better than nothing))

Dreamwyvern looked over at her, "I'll be fine I'm sure" She said to her softly and sighed, "Thank you Fernheart.. I would like that a lot" She said, "I am often up late at night, but I don't want to keep you up at night, perhaps I can visit during the day?" She asked her lightly. Dreamwyvern knew her time was near, she could feel it, she moaned in pain and laid down on her side, the kits were up and jerking around as they often did at night, one of the reasons she was forced to wake up. Who could sleep through constant kicking?
Dreamwyvern groaned and hoped the pain would stop after a while, she looked up at Fernheart and hoped she could help her back to the den.
